I have tried numerous natural products such as: Rue Oil that help a little bit, cortizone creams, venapro, witch hazel (which does make it feel better).

You know what worked? A trip to a colorectal doctor. I kept putting it off. I was nervous etc...

It got to the point where I could not take the bleeding and full feeling from the hemorrhoids.

I met my doctor at a street fair! of all places. He had a booth and had a GREAT personality.

So, I had the courage to schedule the appt. Saw him literally on Friday afternoon. He was gentle and did confirm that I had 3 internal large hemorrhoids. He injected them with some type of solution (NO PAIN!!!!). I felt 1 little poke...not a big deal. I was a little uncomfortable afterwards for a few hours. The inside of your rectum does not have nerve endings, that is why I did not feel the injection. The little needle poke was because the hemorrhoid was near the opening of the anus.

You can start by reducing the amount strain you place on the hemorrhoid. This can be easily done by adding more fiber and water to your diet (this will help prevent constipation). You really don't want to be straining during a bowel movement (unnecessary straining will further irritate the hemorrhoids).
