I'm sixteen and after some severe discomfort went to the doctor to learn I have my very first case of hemorrhoids. I got a cream with some lidocaine and hydrocortisone which helps a bit, but I'm still really sore to any touch, including necessary wiping after a bowel movement. What can I do to make sure I'm thoroughly cleansed without further irritating my 'rhoids?

Hey, Im 17 and I also just got my first Hemorroid. It pretty much sucks although mine doesnt hurt and it isnt very big thankfully!
I would suggest either using wet-wipes or baby wipes. If you cant get those you can use wet toilet paper (I wet the paper with warm water because it helps to sooth them a little). Also try putting on some Vaseline, it helps to keep things clean when you have a bowel movement (Well it works for me)

Anyways I hope for your sake and my sake that these stupid things go away soon because they suck!

It's never been easy to face those damn hemorrhoids, is it? As for my opinion I think it is better for you to
take your time to just sit on a towel for a couple of minutes and let it dry for itself. If you try to wipe out,
there's a possibility that you're gonna touch and irritate it. Believe me, I know how much pain it is.

Hope you'll be doing fine on treating those hemorrhoids.
